Ever since most of you guys mugged your hearts out for promos, our online arena seems to have been forgotten. Let's not dissolve it!

Over the past 4 months, there were many ups and downs. Some are truths that are hard to accept and very heart-wrenching. On the other hand, there were blessings that went around giving people a new hope. I hope everyone cherish what we had as a class. For those who hasnt been on a smooth sailing ride, remember that -When a door closes, a new door opens. It's the start of something new! Once you are in 09S08, you will be forever be from 09S08 alright!

However, let's cast that aside, and see what's right ahead coming for us!

yes in our hearts,
you guys are still champions of 09S08!

our three favourite musketeers caught on live in the audi today.

it was really a spectacular sight to see the whole cohort in the same room, breathing the same air but cheering for different people.

it was even more touching to see most of us sitting down in the audi cheering for the people we do really support, JUSTIN, JUN KAI and ZIYI.

seems like the nominations given for this gk challenge during that fateful gp lesson few days ago wasn't a sabotage, but rather people who were really competent for this competition.

this evening indeed was a nervewrecking experience for the contestants as well as the audience. i'm sure this experience will leave a strong legacy to those who were screaming at the top of their lungs at that moment.

despite a fantastic start, the ending wasnt good, the result wasnt perfect, but it was definitely worth a watch for students who had spent their long hours in school tensed up in tutorials and lectures to relax for a bit.

Last but not least,
to the 3 boys,

Thanks for coming down to the PW Room on Tuesday, it was of a great help :)

Anyway, I have talked to the Programme Coordinator, and she's delighted to see our enthusiasm, however, as we only have a month left in planning, we will have more of a "void-deck" event, rather than a "rar-rar field" event, where we inculcate fund-raising only.

I will need to talk to the committee members soon about the new plan, i'll make sure everyone is free, so be there!

Hello H2 history people.. this is a reminder for you guys. For South-East Asian History there is a profiling test. It will be carried out next wednesday in LT 2 from 10.30 to 11.30am. Only topics 1, 2 and 4 will be tested. And there will only be MCQ and structured essay. So basically it is memory work.

And for International History, please do not forget to do the project. It is part of our continual assesement.

Hi everyone, I'm here to update our status on embarking the Service Learning journey. I'm really glad to see the overwhelming response to be able to lead this project fruifully, and I really do hope people with experience will step up and share your experience with us.

Here's a reply from the programme coordinator about our response to the Project.

This project is supported by Sembawang Family Service Center.

Family Day Carnival
Target audience: Children and their families
Target number of families: 80-100 families (financially needy families)
Proposed date of implementation: Late May / Early June (coincide with National Family Week/Month)
Venue: Sembawang (to minimise transportation fees for the families)
Suggestions: Food n Fun Fair Carnival, Inter-sports games for families, Fashion Parade for families, Family Drawing Competition, Family Singing Competition, etc

Administration Crew will take minutes of all official meetings and remind members important announcements if any.

Station Crew will be in-charge of the respective booths and ensure customer satisfaction.

Runner Team will be helping station members to pass information during the event, if best, have good stamina.

Volunteer Welfare Crew ensures that on event day all members are replenished with water, food by taking care of breakfast and lunch. Issues t-shirts, collate CIP points.

Apparel Crew is IT-savvy, will ensure the T-shirts are made, promote template and fonts for official documents.

Medic Crew promptly provides first aid where necessary.

Please sign up in the tagboard asap, leaders will be announced very soon. Do indicatte whether you want to be the leader for your respective positions, and state the experience you have.

I'm open to suggestions about anything on the project, about the booth, etc.

I don't know if I can make it but I'd love to go. I get bored at home you know and don't talk about studying. I wish I never knew what study is. This is for Cheryl, since i am the only one with the same combi as her...

Firstly we had history lecture in LT3, Matthew Lim continued about fundamentalism, and then he did the case study of Egypt and Iran.. Nothing much in history.. then chemistry is going thru the tutorial for volumetric analysis. we went thru till question 7. Then is gp. Ms Lam spent the whole hour explaining how to write a gp essay..and she also explain how to do holiday homework.... Then maths.. this maths lesson Jennifer Lam seems to be at the top of her spirits. She was smiling very happily thru out and excited abt staff amazing race. She went thru tutorial 1(b) qn 2and 3. Then she did something really important. She went thru again the square root curve and y square curve... Then history tutorial, Matthew Lim went thru globalization for the holiday project work... Then nothing liao

Pls collect your history files from Keshveen, and then hand your econ homework to delphine tan if you haven, and collect the slip of gp homework and then find out the maths holiday homework...

I sincerely apologise for not marking Vas' attendance on the recent Math lecture. I still feel guilty, you know. It shows how much of an irresponsible leader I am. I couldn't sleep thinking of the blunder I have done. Ok, obviously that was a lie. Now, I don't know if I need to get new lecture notes because the other time I thought the teacher told us to get notes on a new topic but after proceeding to the photocopy room/shop to check the board, it wasn't updated. Someone, please enlighten me. If anyone thinks I'm not doing good enough as a Math rep, just tell it to my face. Don't worry I won't cry.

Alright, now, allow me to brag. =D

Remember I did 60 sit ups the other day? Guess what, I do 50 crunches and 50 sit ups a day, that's why. Awesome huh? Yeah, I'm insane. This will be the first and last I boast here. Sorry, I couldn't help it. It was a temptation within me. Blessings for a good day people!

hello 09S08!

hoped that the past 3 days spent together would be one of the most memorable days of your lives.

with really encouraging people in the team to name a few, abbas, the first guy i saw in my life who could galvanise so much endurance and strength just to be with us through thick and thin every minute of the camp (despite having a cast on his leg). rebecca, doing us proud by claiming one of the best camper from heron! not to forget kesh and vas, the never-ending quarrels they had, yising amusing people by imitating gangsters speaking in a foreign language.
